WASHINGTON (TVR) – Beaches and warm, tropical destinations “dominate” the list of top destinations for 2018 Spring Break travel, according to a new analysis.
Miami is the top destination among travelers in North America searching for flights for April, Sojern’s Global Travel Insights report shows.
Four in 10 searches, or 40%, are for trips lasting four to seven days, the analysis of “more than a billion traveler intent data points” found.
That’s a longer journey than searches for travel earlier in the year.
“North Americans are looking to enjoy more days off this month, than the first months of the year,” Sojern concluded.

Despite an active travel warning for parts of Mexico and reports of U.S. citizens being injured in bomb attacks, one Mexican destination did make the Top 5 of most-searched places to travel in April.
