Every wonder who takes the most exciting vacations?
SHAREaCAMPER recently released its 2017 Global Adventure Rankings of the world’s most adventurous countries to answer that very question.
The company, which runs a camper rental website, studied search terms in Google for an entire year to determine which countries had the most queries for certain physical activities.
Those activities included surfing, skydiving, skiing, rock climbing, hiking, caravanning, buggy jumping, and BMX biking.

The Netherlands is Most Adventurous
Europeans apparently know how to do adventure better than anyone else – capturing four of the top five spots in the most adventurous rankings.
The Netherlands ranked first, followed by Australia, Sweden, Germany, and France.
The United States came in ninth; Canada landed at number 18.
“Knowing where to find adventurous people across the world is interesting for ourselves and any other business that thrives on adventure,” SHAREaCAMPER’s CEO, Florian Dahlmann, said in comments accompanying the study.
